School gardens are increasingly popular and interest in using the food in the school setting has been discussed in many areas of the State. In this video, Farm to School Alaska assists Birchtree Charter School with their fall harvest from their school garden. The students harvested their Alaska Grown food and also prepped their garden for winter so it would be much easier to tend to in the Spring.
